Delete Your FrightMaps Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your account for FrightMaps: Haunt Finder, published by Prolific Software Solutions LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.

Delete your account in the app (fastest)

1. Open the FrightMaps app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap the menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
4. Choose Delete Account.
5. Re-enter your password to confirm. Deletion runs immediately.

Signed in with Google or Apple instead of a password? Use the email option below and we will verify ownership and delete the account for you.

Request deletion by email

Email contact@frightmaps.com from the address on your FrightMaps account with the subject “Account deletion request.” We verify that you control the address and complete the deletion within 30 days, with a confirmation reply when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in credentials (Google, Apple, or email) — deleted immediately.
• Your profile: username, photo, FrightCoins balance, rank, streaks, likes, and saves.
• Every haunt or display listing you created, including all photos you uploaded.
• Your push-notification registrations and device links.

What may be kept, and for how long

• Purchase and ticket records (Stripe, App Store, Google Play) are retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations — typically 7 years — and are no longer linked to a usable account.
• Reviews, ratings, and chat messages you posted may remain visible in de-identified form (no longer attributed to your name or profile).
• Backups and logs age out automatically within 90 days of deletion.

Deletion is permanent — listings, photos, and FrightCoins cannot be restored afterward. If you have questions first, reach us at contact@frightmaps.com.
