New witch voices and personalities for Lethal Lily in Skelly Studio

Skelly Studio has four new witch voices named for Lethal Lily and five new witch personalities. They are live now in the free FrightMaps app with no update needed, and they already work on Ultra Skelly. Lily herself shows up in the Skelly Studio device list starting with the next FrightMaps app update, the first version after 5.2.2.

Which Lily this is for

Skelly Studio is built for the app-controlled Lethal Lily, sold at The Home Depot as the 7 FT Wicked Woods Animated LED App Controlled Lethal Lily. The Home Depot's 2026 Halloween announcement describes her as a fan favorite returning with app-controlled features that let you customize what she says and how she moves.

Skelly Studio treats her as the Ultra Skelly's electronics in a witch costume. When it recognizes her, it relabels the controls for her: the movement buttons become Wrist, Elbow, Head and Eyes, and her light is labeled Lantern.

The older 7 ft. Animated Lethal Lily Witch, model 23SV23794, is not app-controlled, so Skelly Studio cannot connect to it.

The four voices

• Lethal Lily: Wicked Cackle. Middle-aged and American. Raspy whispers and sharp, sinister lines with dark humor.
• Lethal Lily: Giggling Hex. Young and British. Funny and creepy at once.
• Lethal Lily: Velvet Sorceress. Young and American. Smooth and elegant, a dark fantasy sorceress.
• Lethal Lily: Ancient Crone. Old, with a low, gravelly whisper and a slow delivery.

All four work in both voice modes, Fast and Expressive.

The five witch personalities

• The Cauldron Crone. A cackling swamp witch who casts rhyming spells, threatens to turn people into toads and gets distracted by candy.
• The Lantern Witch. A soft, slow keeper of lost souls who speaks in riddles about light and shadow and asks you to follow her lantern.
• The Hex Headmistress. A stern British spell teacher who hands out detention in the dungeon.
• The Gingerbread Witch. A sugary grandmother who keeps offering candy and is sinister underneath. Written to be kid-friendly.
• The Crystal Ball Witch. An ominous fortune teller who predicts silly, spooky fates and wants candy as payment.

Set it up

1. Pair Lily. Switch her to Bluetooth mode and close her own app. In FrightMaps, go to the More tab and tap Skelly Studio. It scans on its own. Tap Lily in the list. She appears there in FrightMaps versions after 5.2.2, so update the app first. If she still does not show up, email contact@frightmaps.com.

2. Pick a voice. In the AI Settings card, open the Voice list and choose a Lethal Lily voice. Tap Hear this voice to play a sample.

3. Load a personality. Under System Prompt, tap Library, then open the Community tab. The witches are under Character Personalities. Tap a card. A message confirms it loaded and you return to the controls.

4. Try it. Type a line and tap Ask Skelly. Lily answers in character. To hear her from her own speaker, turn on Play the voice through Lethal Lily, then pair your phone in Bluetooth settings to her name with "(Live)" on the end.

These are suggestions. Voice and personality are set separately, so any combination works.

• Ancient Crone with The Cauldron Crone.
• Velvet Sorceress with The Lantern Witch.
• Giggling Hex with The Hex Headmistress. Both are British.
• Wicked Cackle with The Crystal Ball Witch or The Gingerbread Witch.

Ultra Skelly owners

The four voices also show in the Voice list for Ultra Skelly. The Voice setting is shared between props, so check it when you switch back to Skelly.

Voice minutes

Ask Skelly and Speak This both use voice minutes. The free plan includes 2 minutes to try it. Base FrightMaps Pro adds no voice minutes beyond those 2; the Haunted Duo plans add more. Expressive is only on Haunted Duo Plus and Haunted Duo Ultimate and uses 2 minutes for every minute spoken.
